AAA Math
This is an excellent resource for any type of math you want your child to work on. You
choose the grade level of your child ( At the top of the opening page)and then on the next page you choose the skill
you would like them to work on. There are many skills to work on in this site beginning with place value , rounding
and estimation which we begin the year with.

This a great site to practice many different
math operations
Coolmath4kids
The above site has many cool math explanations and activities. There are great
logic games as well.
Online Worksheets for math
This site contains worksheets that you can make online. the child does these sheets online and
they are scored. There are also other math activities for children to do on this site.
Interactive math games for grades 3-6
Do you want to have many different opportunities and activities
to study concepts being worked on it math? Well if you do, this is the site. There are fun computer games on this site that
works with algebra, fractions, measurement, time, geometry, patterns, money, and data. It is a great site for grades 3-6.
Math Lab
This site is a great site for larger addition and subtraction problems
especially when working with regrouping. There are different math games to choose from, but I suggest draggable math. This
activity will give your child an opportunity to practice regrouping when subtracting.
Fun Brain
This site has a variety of math skills to work on. One that may be fun is playing baseball with
math facts. You choose the difficulty level and what operation to use.
Interactive flash cards
This site offers flash cards that are done on the Internet. You can
choose multiplication, division, addition, or subtraction. You choose the difficulty level. They will tell you the accuracy
of the flash cards done and the speed that your child did them.
A+ Math
This site also contains flashcards like stated above. This site will also create flash cards that
can be printed, or you can create custom flashcards for the facts you want your child to practice and print these. Besides
flash cards, there are games, worksheets, and a homework helper. On the worksheets you choose what type of problems and how
many problems. They will give you the ansers for these.
Elementary Math Sites
This site is a math site which contains activities for various areas
in math. Number sense/operations, data analysis, Problem solving, patterns, geometry, and measurement are all concepts that
are covered on this page. They have some fun games to practice basic math facts. Soccer shoot out, baseball, and speed grid
are a few examples.
Weekly Brain Teaser
Do you like math brain teasers? Check each Thursday for a new math related
brain teaser. This site offers different grade levels from grades 3-8.
Eagles Internet Resources (Math Activities)
This site contains many various math activities also. Many are focused
on addition and basic facts. There are some neat activities. Tackle Math Football is one example of a game you can play on
this.

Insect Fun
For all bug lovers.. this site has information, photos, games, recipes, etc. The

There is a beginner as well as an intermediate
level of interactive spelling games to practice spelling words. (For grades 1-5)
Reading Details
This site is fantastic. It is geared for primary grades (K-3). They
have short videos for learning different consonant and vowel blends. They have great activities for letter recognition.
One item to check out for sure is their poems. Each poem focuses on either a long or short vowel sound. The poem
can then be read by the computer or by your child. After reading the poem, they do short activities working with a particular
sound.
Phonics Interactivities
This site offers phonics activities for grades K-6. There are different
games to work with consonant an vowel sounds. There are also activities for homophones, synonyms, antonyms, and much
more. Good site for reviewing reading skills.
Long Vowel Activities
This website works with the long vowel songs. The focus is poems like a
site stated earlier. They have links to make worksheets working with various vowels. Very good ideas!
Vocabulary Activities
This site mainly focuses on vocabulary activities. It is geared for grades
3-6. The activities focus on antonyms, categories, and analogies. Many activities to choose from.
Definition Guessing Game
This is a fun way to build vocabulary. Students play the game Fake Out to
try to guess the definition of words. There are three different grade levels ranging from K-8 .
PBS for Kids reading activities
Many of these activities are for primary students grades K-3. Fun games
to play for building reading skills. It does require Shockwave to play these games. Shockwave is a free download
if you do not have.
Reading Activities Goo Games
These games are reading games. They are for grades K-6. They work with letter
recognition, sounds, fact vs. fantasy, sentence building, antonyms, synonyms, poetry, and spelling. These games are
a lot of fun and you still are learning!
Free Rice (Vocabulary site)
This is a wonderful site in that you not only learn new vocabulary words,
but you also are helping others. For each word that you identify correctly, 20 grains of rice are donated through the United
Nations World Food Program. Visit this site often!!!!
